The First Week is Over

    <lj:music>Night Drive - Jimmy Eat World</lj:music>

Well the first week of the holidays are over and they're going WAY too quickly.

I basically haven't been home all week, and when I was at home, people were here. Today will be the first day I'm home alone, and its only for half the day anyway. =D
Monday I went and watched Joshie and Leonard play basketball against a freaky New Zealand team with a heap of people from school. That was LOTS of fun! Before the game, the NZ team did the HAKA! AHHH! It was so cool! Well.... as cool as it can be when it's done by 20 non-maori boys all about the age of 15. There was ONE maori in the team, and he was the only one that didn't know how to do it... that was hilarious.
Anyway, after the game (we lost but it was a good game) we all went to the movies at Fox and argued about what we were going to see for half an hour. We finally decided to see Fast and Furious 3, which is such a good movie! I've seen it twice now =P. Hah I'm such a rev-head.
When the movie finished, Mel, Rosh, Jacky, Johnny and I decided to go see another movie coz we didn't go home, and the only one on was Click. DON'T SEE IT! I thought it was shite. But it was fun anyway =D.
Tuesday was the start of our PIRATES ADVENTURE! ARR! I went to Roojo's place and was there alone with her dad for about an hour, waiting for her and Blythe to get back from the shops... and the only thing they left me to keep me amused was a Coles Savings brochure. Thanks guys. =P Haha nah it was okay, her house is awesome.
We watched Gattaca... SEE IT! It was so sad, but very very good =D. When we'd finally decided to settle down and go to sleep, Ruby decided she'd turn into a demon. That's a long and very scary story, so I won't tell you.
Wednesday we went for a pic-a-nic-a in the city and took crazy sticky photos at the crazy Japanese sticky photo place! YAY! They were awesome =D. When we got back to Blythe's place, we mucked around for a while then watched Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl in preparation for THURSDAY!
WOOOHOOOO PIRATES 2! We went to Fox first thing in the morning, and saw POTC2 and it was SO SO SO SO GOOD! I thought it was better than the first, but I know some people will disagree with me there. Anyhow, it was bloody good for a sequel. Can't wait for the third (its called At World's End in case you were wondering =P).
It was then time to head out to Mascot for Joshie's partay. So we caught busses and whatnot through the city and EVENTUALLY got there. That party was really REALLY awesome.
For most of the night, me, Roo, Blythe, Rosh, Johnny and Plini were squished up on this couch outside cracking very dirty jokes while listening to Rafi trying to sing. It was hilarious. =D.
So we all had loads of fun that night.
Blythe and Roo then came back to my place and stayed over. =)
Saturday Claire came over and she just left, about an hour ago, so that was fun. We just did the usual.

Wow this is my first entry in so long! Hehe.

Before I leave, I would like to say a few words:

SPARK! ZING! PING AND KABLAMO!

Xx Lil

Today was possibly one of the best days of the year so far. The athletics carnival was cancelled coz of the rain so we pretty much just bludged the whole day at school. Then this arvo mum called me and told me there was a suprise waiting for me at home and to get on a bus quickly. When I got home this tiny little beagle pup came running over to meet me at the door! Mum bought us a new puppy! She's SOOOOOOOO cute! Apparently she was the runt of the litter and was the last to be sold... but she's adorable. Stanley, my other beagle, isn't very impressed and is giving us all the cold shoulder at the moment. But he'll get used to her eventually. =)
Here are some pics of my Daisy =)

    <lj:music>The Living End</lj:music>

HELLO!
Last night we went to The Living End at the Hordern and it was soooo sooo soooo awesome. (We being Mel, Lena, Rosh and I). We met Rosh at his school (Kate came with us =P heehee) and wandered around til Rosh's mum arrived to take all our stuff home. Then Lena said a very long goodbye to Josh (haha) and we went to fox. We got food and jumped on LoveSacs and stuff and twas fun. Kate and Rosh were MEANT to... you know... but they didn't and it was very very frustrating lol. We tried to find Cameron, but seeing as Mel's the only one who vaguely knows him, we just walked around yelling "Cameron!" every now and then. We didn't find him.
Said goodbye to Kate and started lining up, we met up with Mills and Jarrod and tried to find Tara and Emmi but failed miserably. Once we were in we jumped around screaming a lot, then made our way to the crowd forming infront of the stage, where we stayed til Kisschasy (YAY) came on.

KISSCHASY! Dazzy had dyed his hair BRIGHT pink (<--- it was exactly that colour) and it was so cool! We were about 3 rows from the barrier but Lena decided she wanted to go out of the mosh, so Mel and Mills went with her (we'd lost the others by now) and I stayed up the front. They're so freakin good live and twas very very fun. Karl (drummer) was looking very very sexy without his shirt... yes Cris you're right =P... and Daz was just awesome... as always.
Best song they played: United Paper People
THHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNN.....

I left and went out to find Mel and Lena and we got drinks and stuff and they lined up in the merch place while I went back in and waited for Gyro.

GYROSCOPE! I was HEAPS close to the stage during Gyro and it was so so so so so so awesome. I thought they were better than Kisschasy, but only coz they played their best songs... and Kisschasy played they're most famous, not their best. ANYWAY, yeah I got kicked in the head/jaw a couple of times by crowd surfers but I'm alive so it's all good. Mel, Lena and Mills didn't come in with me coz Gyro's too "emo" for them. Which is a bit of an overstatement (sorry Mel) seeing as they have NO songs relating to anything remotely "emo". So they went up into the bleachers and bagged them out the whole time pretty much while I'm going wild down in front. Wow, Gyro was so good.
Best song they played: Dream Vs. Scream
THEN THEN THEN...

THE LIVING END! WOO!

We went back into the mosh (all of us this time... except Rosh and Jarrod coz we lost them) and slowly made our way to about the middle. Then we all got split up and lost each other. I dunno where everyone else was but apparently Mel got to the barrier at some point, Lena ended up trying to save two twitching unconcious girls, don't know what happened to Mills, and I got to about the 3rd row in the middle again. Couldn't breathe through the whole thing but it was worth it. =D. About 3/4s of the way through when another death mosh circle thingy formed I ran out to get a drink and on my way back in a ran into Rosh, Jarrod, Emmi and Tara so I stayed with them for a while, we went further in (about the middle) and lost Jarrod, Emmi and Tara so we just stayed there for the last few songs. Rosh is a freak. He knows all the words to all the songs and he even noticed when Chris played one note wrong in The Room and I was very very amazed. Sucks he's so short lol.
Best song they played: Uncle Harry (Pissing in the bath WHOA-OH pissing in the bath!)

But yes, all bands were so so so so so awesome and I had the best time ever! Apart from being kicked in the head a couple of times, getting winded by a big sweaty fat man and not being able to breathe the whole time... but its all in the name of fun.

After el concerto Lena went to get her shirt from the shirt-keeping place and we waited outside for her, shivering and covered in mosh juice.

We walked through the very dodjy park talking about how wonderful hemp is and whatever else we ended up talking about and arrived in the tennis courts where Mels dad picked us up and took us home.

Then I got picked up, ranted to mum and dad about how awesome it was and then went to sleep.

Today I woke up and felt sick (for some strange reason) and had a massive headache and i couldn't exactly walk, so I couldn't make it to hockey =(. Poo.

Do you like The Living End???? LIKE HEMP I DO! haha.

Well I'm off,
Xx Lil

    <lj:music>My Friends - RHCP</lj:music>

Hey hey!
I started hockey tonight and it was SOOOOO fun! I'm playing in a C grade (haha) under 15's MIXED team (thankyou very much =P) and its so cool! And Ruby (and Blythe and Mel =P) you're not gonna believe this... but I won't tell you what it is now, you can wait =P.
LALALALALAAA YAY! My coach gave me this tattered old hockey stick and a ball to practice with so I'll probably be doing that pretty much all holidays!
I found this really cool song today called 'My Friends' by Red Hot Chili Peppers and I though it was really cool... and very good for when a friend is down in the dumps. It's not exactly a happy song, but it reminds me of those pick-ten-people-and-spill-your-heart-and-soul-out things we did.

My friends are so depressed
I feel the question
Of your loneliness
Confide... `cause I’ll be on your side
You know I will, you know I will

X girlfriend called me up
Alone and desperate
On the prison phone
They want... to give her 7 years
For being sad

I love all of you
Hurt by the cold
So hard and lonely too
When you don’t know yourself

My friends are so distressed
And standing on
The brink of emptiness
No words... I know of to express
This emptiness

Imagine me taught by tragedy
Release is peace
I heard a little girl
And what she said
Was something beautiful
To give... your love
No matter what.

I don't get the X Girlfriend bit... thats a bit random... but its a sweet song. Give your love no matter what!
Anyway, thanks so much for the CD Blythe, its so awesome and I listened to it all the way home.
AHAHAHAHAH YAY!
I'm very much in love with life at the moment. It's so fun and happy and chaotic and there's so much goss and so many good things happening to people and LJ is just AWESOMELY AWESOME and wow. AND YOU GUYS ARE WOW! I agree with you Ruby when you say you have the most perfect friends in the world... I LOVE YOU ALL TO PLUTO AND BEYOND!
I am really loving life.
I remember like AGES ago I wrote this random poem about people that don't appreciate life and it was really cool. I can't fint it though which is a bum.
Ah well... poetry is so... nice. Some people are so talented they can just make words flow so nicely together. Like Mel! YAY I have my first training tomorrow!
Who invented the pen? VIAGRA! (teehee... viagra pen)
The Arctic Monkeys... what a very random name for a band...why would you call a band the Arctic Monkeys? Should be penguins... yes yes, should be penguins.
HAHA lets all jig on thursday and go to the city! Roshan just asked if we could... hmmm... don't know about that one.
EASTER SHOW! How awesome is it gonna be! But not as awesome as if Roojo was there =( But she'll be with Mr Burri Boy... having fun *wink wink*
Hmmm yes Burri Boy.
Ok I'll stop now... that was me just writing down the first things that came into my head... teehee that was fun.
